Anne Beinecke is an award-winning artist inspired by nature and dreams. As a child she could be found wandering the galleries of the Art Institute of Chicago writing poems about the paintings that inspired her, creating tiny books, and snapping photos of the neighborhood creatures with her beloved Brownie. Encouraged by her parents, Anne studied art at CUNY Hunter College and Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she received her BFA in painting with honors. In 2017 Anne was awarded the Cambridge Art Association Emerging Artist Juror's Choice Award by artists Jenny Brown and Lavaughan Jenkins and in 2020, a CAA Members Artist of the Year Award by Jessica Roscio, Curator, Danforth Art Museum at Framingham State University. Anne is also an animal rights activist with a background in social work and psychology. She currently lives and works in Cambridge, Massachusetts with her husband and cat.
